Toll Dachsteinstraße
Up the Dachstein Road to the Dachstein
Together with Ramsauer Verkehrsbetriebe and the property owners along Dachsteinstraße , we care deeply about the unique natural and mountain landscape surrounding the Dachstein. To get here, we recommend taking the Ramsau Public Transportation buses. This way, you’ll arrive comfortably and directly at the valley station of the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car and can leave your car behind.
Use of the bus is free for guests of the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car. Keep your toll ticket and validate it at the machine at the Dachstein mountain station before your return trip.

The road is open year-round. However, please check the current road conditions before your trip . During the winter months, snow chains may be required, and the road may be closed due to winter conditions!
