How are you traveling here?

Traveling by Bus

You can easily reach the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car via regional and intercity bus routes. The bus stops are located right next to the valley station. This is ideal for anyone who wants to travel in a relaxed and eco-friendly way.

Since parking at the valley station is limited, we recommend taking the Dachstein Glacier bus operated by Ramsauer Verkehrsbetriebe. The bus departs from Planet Planai in Schladming, where you can park your car for free in the parking garage.

Dachstein Parking Lot

Parking is available right at the valley station of the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car. However, space at the Dachstein parking lot is limited, and it is also used by other visitors to the Dachstein alpine pasture area. This can lead to congestion, especially on busy days.

Alternative Parking Lot & Shuttle During Peak Demand
If the parking lot at the valley station of the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car is fully occupied, additional shuttle buses are deployed. They operate without a fixed schedule and run flexibly between the alternative parking lot and the valley station, depending on passenger volume. The shuttle departs from the alternate parking lot at the Dachsteinstraße toll station. Regular public buses also assist with transportation.
