The Dachstein – a breeding ground for medalists

Cross-country skiing on the Dachstein means training at a unique high altitude: At around 2,700 m, you’ll carve your own tracks through the high-alpine landscape of the Dachstein Glacier. Depending on snow conditions, up to 15 km of glacier trails are available to you.

From fall through spring, the Dachstein Glacier offers good cross-country skiing conditions, depending on snow conditions. In the fall, top international athletes also train here for upcoming competitions. For your personal cross-country skiing training on the Dachstein, you can choose between classic and skating techniques.
