Stairs to Nothingness 14 Steps Above the Abyss
The Stairway to Nothingness is one of the most spectacular attractions on the Dachstein Glacier. Right after the Dachstein Suspension Bridge, an extraordinary experience awaits you: 14 narrow steps lead down to a glass platform that juts far out over the rock face. Here, you’ll stand about 400 meters above the base of the cliff and enjoy the sensation of floating freely over the abyss.
Anyone brave enough to step onto the Stairway to Nothingness on the Dachstein Glacier will be rewarded with a unique Alpine panorama. The glass platform, the unobstructed view into the depths, and the imposing mountain backdrop make this observation deck a popular destination in Styria. For anyone seeking extraordinary views and thrills on the Dachstein, a visit here will be an unforgettable experience.
