Start your day with a sunrise breakfast on the Dachstein and experience the morning at 2,700 meters above sea level. From May through August, this special breakfast on the Dachstein Glacier combines regional cuisine with a breathtaking natural experience.
After the ride up on the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car, a varied breakfast buffet featuring regional specialties awaits you at the Dachstein Glacier Restaurant. As the sun rises over the peaks and bathes the mountain landscape in golden light, an atmosphere is created that will stay with you for a long time. The breakfast experience in Schladming-Dachstein combines culinary delights, panoramic views, and unforgettable moments in the mountains.
Afterward, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the attractions on the Dachstein. Visit the suspension bridge, the Stairway to Nothingness, the Sky Walk, the Ice Palace, and the Dachstein Sky Ladder —all of these attractions are included in your ticket.

Important Information
Participation is only possible with a prior online reservation. Since space is limited, we recommend making your reservation early.
- Please book only one appointment. Multiple reservations will be deleted without exception.
- If you do not show up without prior cancellation, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

Sunrise Breakfast
- The number of participants is limited for our special tours.
- Table reservations are not available. However, tables will be assigned for groups of eight or more.
- Important note: The Schladming-Dachstein Card is not valid for the sunrise breakfast or the sunset tours.
- The departure times for the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car are based on the respective sunrise time and will be provided to you upon registration.
- We recommend making a reservation for the descent starting at 11:00 a.m.
Note regarding inclement weather:
The sunrise and sunset packages generally take place regardless of the weather. Cancellations occur only in the event of extreme weather conditions when safe operation of the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car is not possible.
Even with limited visibility, the experience is well worth it: Many guests enjoy breakfast at the Dachstein Glacier Restaurant, visit the Ice Palace, or take a stroll across the suspension bridge.
